Se proporciona información detallada del daño a nivel craneal y mandibular de una hembra juvenil de Mesoplodon grayi varada en la costa de Guanaqueros Región de Coquimbo durante el año 2018. Se discute el posible origen de las fracturas. Además, se contrasta la evidencia existente de conductas de agresión intra e interespecíficas para otras especies de cetáceos en distintas partes del planeta, que permitieran generar inferencias sobre las lesiones descubiertas en el ejemplar estudiado.
