New record of Nardophyllum genistoides (Phil.) Gray (Asteraceae) in the central Andes of Chile: new insights on habitat and associated species

Abstract

A new record of Nardophyllum genistoides from Chile is reported. The habitat differs considerably from the one described in the most recent collection published. This finding gives new insights on the potential habitat of the species and could narrow down future research efforts to this poorly collected species, currently considered as Endangered.
