The collection housed in the Invertebrate Zoology Department at the National Museum of Natural
History (MNHNCL) belonging to Lund University Chile Expedition (L.U.C.E.), is represented by six
groups of invertebrates: Cnidarians, Annelids, Mollusks, Arthropods, Echinoderms and Chordates. This
collection represents a sample of the material collected by L.U.C.E., studied by worldwide specialists
in each taxa. The samples deposited in the MNHNCL represent, although in reduced form, an integrated
testimony of the results of this expedition.
