Abstract

A new localization for the Valeria´s growler Pristidactylus valeriae is described. The record was registered in the Cordillera de la Costa, at the foot of the Curamahuí hill, Peumo, O'Higgins Region. The record reflects the lack of information about this reptile. This new record expands its distribution of P. valeriae about 22 kilometers to the south. Consequently after P. torquatusP. valeriae becomes the second growler with the highest rank of distribution in the country.
