Results obtained from the archaeological excavation of a site from the Tawantinsuyu period on the top of the Quebrada del Inca hill, located in the south central part of Maipo valley. Its function is analyzed in light of available ethnohistorical and archaeological evidence, concluding that it was contemporary to other Inca sites within the Chada area, participating in a network of installations destined to the consecration and control of the vital path of the of Cordon de Angostura, towards Cachapoal valley.
