The Conservation of the Cerro el Plomo Child and his trousseau

In this paper, the conservation-restoration processes, which have been developed in the body of a child and furnishings that belonged to the Inca culture and was found incidentally by three people who traveled the summit of Cerro El Plomo at 5,400 m looking for "treasures". Since its discovery in 1954 to date has been widely reported, the nature of preservation and for being a unique case in Chile has been kept for over fifty years in a refrigerated display case at the National Museum of Natural History in Santiago de Chile. The aim of this paper is to present the various preservation processes that until now have been carried out both in the body of the Child's Lead as part of her trousseau.
