Abstract

We present evidence of bones of the reptile Callopistes palluma (Molina, 1782) recorded at an ar-chaeological context dated to 1620 ±25 AP, in Lucero cave (CBL 121) site, Combarbalá (Región de Coquimbo, Chile). The evidence indicates an in situ natural death context, without anthropogenic activity in its depositional genesis.
