The aim of this papers is to give accounts and discuss some techniques for consolidate bone material that have been implemented in the field. These techniques are used to avoid the fragility of these materials at the moment of its extraction, and enhance their transport and subsequent processing in laboratory. These techniques are particularly suitable to osseous archaeological objects and human skeletons. In addition, also refers to the remnants of older material such as paleontological and zoological ones.
