Abstract

The actual knowledge of the Order Odonata in Chile was studied, emphasizing in the taxonomic information useful for the limnological work such as the knowledge of the immature state and geographical distribution of species. A total of 47 species distributed in 23 genera and 9 families are recognized; the endemism reaches 29,8% of the species.
