Abstract

The samples assigned to Sphenisciformes housed in the fossil collections of the Museo Nacional de Historia Natural (Chile) are listed here. The present catalogue includes 47 fossil remains. from which 7 belong to 3 known species, 21 could be assigned up to generic level and 16 can not be assigned further to familiar level The main goal of this catalogue is to present the information updated of each sample in order to facilitate future investigations in phylogeny, evolution and biogeography.
