Abstract

A catalog of littoral fish species from Desventuradas Islands (ca. 26°S) deposited in the collection of the Museo Nacional de Historia Natural, Chile is given. These fishes were captured during the cruise "Islas Oceánicas Chilenas 1997" (IOC '97), in February and March, 1997. This catalog includes 19 species belonging to 16 families on a total of 172 specimens.
