Abstract

Tillandsia marconae Till & Vitek (Bromeliaceae) is recorded for Chile for the first time. The species occurs in the coastal desert of Southern Peru and Northern Chile. The occurrence of Tillandsia paleacea Presl in Chile is discussed.
