Abstract

From the small intestine of two Chilean rodents, Spalacopus cyanus Molina, several specimens of a nematode were identified as comprising a new species which is herein described. Graphidioides yañezi n. sp. is compared with other members of the genus and morphologically distinguished from them. Furthermore, a key for ready separation of the Chilean species of Graphidioides is presented.
