Una nueva especie de Zeidora A. Adams, 1860 para la isla Robinson Crusoe, Archipiélago de Juan Fernández (Mollusca: gastropoda: fissurellidae)

Abstract

A new species of gastropod of the family Fissurellidae is proposed for Robinson Crusoe island, Juan Fernández Archipelago: Zeidora macleani sp. nov. The species is described based on the study of the shell morphology of specimens obtained from benthic samplings. With the addition of the species proposed in this article, the number of Chilean representatives of the genus Zeidora A. Adams, 1860 increases to two, both from coasts of oceanic islands. For the continental shores there are still no records.
