Abstract

The work of G. BIBAR is analized through the botanical point of view, to know cientifically the entities described with common names by the author. This study shows the remarkable value o f his observations, for the precision in the mention of geographical areas, the citation of unknown common names, the introduction of European plants of great agricultural importance at such early dates, the economic botanical value of native plants and the mention of endemic entities with very restrict areas within the country.
