Abstract

A brief environmental characterization of the plant communities with Avellanita bustillosii presence was carried out. These communities were described in year 2018 and it is located 11 km from Gultro and Requinoa towns, O'Higgins Region. Environmental conditions, vegetation, associated flora, demographic counts were performed in sclerophyllous forest fragments and their uses were described. All of this, to increase the understanding of ecological knowledge of this species and thus contribute to the conservation or restoration plans of the communities where it cohabitates.
