Abstract

Biological invasions are defined as complex phenomena, where a species expands its biogeographic range, occupying regions where it wasn´t before. In this same way, the anthropic activities has increased the feral species throughout the world by introducing them in places where they did not usually live. In this work we document the richness and relative abundance of feral and invasive domestic animal species of the Radal Siete Tazas National Park through the use of camera traps. Cattle were the animal with the greatest relative abundance, followed by the rabbit and the horse. Its main effects on the environment are discussed and methods of control proposed.
