Abstract

Stromatibus, solitariis vel gregariis in ramulis Nothofagi Dombeyi (MIRB.) BL., usque 3 cm. longis 2 cm. crassis, globosis vel obovatis piriformisve, ochroleuco-sordidis vel ochroleuco-melleis nonnihil nitido-oleosis, intus cavis. Cortice ccriaceo-membranaceo; came hyphis 2m diam. in tunica crassa gelatinosa substantia involutis formata, elastica, resistente, leviter crema vel ochroleuca. debiliter dulci, nervis albis e base orientibus, inter apotheciis et circum cavitatem centralem anastomosantibus percursa; apotheciis 2 vel pluribus, globosis vel pauco obovatis, 4-5 mm. diam. vel. 5-6 mm. longis 4-5 mm. latis, ore circulari angulosove usque 4 mm. diam.. saepe ma rgine prominente, hymenio ochroleuco, nonnumquam ochraceo; ascis 204-260/* longis, 20-25/x crassis, cylindraceis. Rectis vel extremo curvatis, debiliter attenuatis circa basim, communiter abrupte in breve pedicello terminando, apice rotundato isticque aqua iodata caeruleo; sporis globosis 16-18/t diam., nigris vel leviter griseis in papyro alba acceptis, nonnumquam portione hyalino centrali; paraphysibus ascis aequilongibus, ramulosis. septatis, intus granulationis ochroleucis, cum dilatationis clavatis 6-7 diam., principaliter basim versus, extremum versus elongatis 3m diam!., communiter p or tione globosa 4/x diam. terminando; pycnidiis globosis 180- 264m diam., carbonaceis, duris, fragilibus, rugosisque, in parvissimis cavitatibus superficie stromatibus sparcis; pycnidiosporis obovatis atque obbvato-oblongis, fuligineo-umbrinis, 5-6/1 longis, 3-4/i latis; sterigmatibus subteretibus 10- 14,u long., 2 - 2 , crass. pycniosporarum plus minusve concolorantibus; ostiolo non vidi.
