Abstract

A new genus and a new species of Copromorphidae are described, associated to the sclerophyllous forest of the central zone of Chile. The species Endothamna marmarocyma Meyrick, is also redescribed and new geographical records are provided. The two Chilean genera can be distinguished by examining the wings venation, shape of labial palpus and maxillary palpus, and the position of coremata on the abdomen.
